Croda Wax – available as white soft round chips; it is added to creams to complement building function. It has a low melting point and improves both the quality and quantity of the product.

Starting a Cosmetics Production Business – Main Chemical Components

Paraffin Oil – this is a binding agent that aids in uniting all the chemicals together. It also enhances the glossy look of the cream.

Petroleum Jelly – improves texture of the cream and makes the skin shine out on application.

Colour Pigments – this is an optional requirement; which is only used when a coloured product is required. If it’s to be used only water soluble colours should be included.

Cetyl Alcohol – this is not actually an alcoholic product but an emollient or emulsifier gotten from coco nuts. It has no burning effect and actually makes the skin smoother and fresher.

Vitamin E – it is nourishing, healing and freshening to the skin.

Borax – it’s a building agent and also enhances the quantity of the cream.
